Stumbled on your site. My GGFather built the Telegraph Hotel, my mother Adeline Roche was born in Bourke in 1890. Her mother, Susan Good was born in 1858 near the Ovens Goldfields where her father, Matthew, was a goldminer prior to coming to Bourke.
His wife, Fanny Williams was born in Kilkenny Ireland in 1836.
Any of you guys interested in early Bourke history or know who might be?
